Jim Randolph, Jr.

Mr. Jim Randolph, Jr., affectionately known as “Ju Ju,” was born in Richland County, South Carolina on July 6, 1951.  He was the oldest child of Rebecca Randolph Finch and the late Jim Randolph, Sr.  He departed this earthly life to enter into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 23, 2010.

 

Jim was baptized at an early age and joined Zion Benevolent Baptist Church.  He attended the public schools in Richland County, South Carolina.

 

Jim was united in Holy Matrimony to Mary Weston for thirty-one (31) years.  They were blessed to have two wonderful sons.

 

Jim was the owner of Hopkins Auto and Truck Repair for over twenty (20) years.  He was a very skilled mechanic and enjoyed working on cars, diesel trucks, and anything that entered his shop.  He was a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky person, and his humorous ways will be greatly missed.

 

Jim leaves to forever cherish his precious memory: a loving and devoted wife, Mary Weston Randolph; two sons, Jim (Kay) Randolph, III and Daryl Jarod Randolph; one grandson, Rikai; his mother, Rebecca R. Finch; grandmother, Rosa Bell Carter; one brother, Stanley Randolph; six sisters, Mary (John) McLemore, Jeanetta Randolph, Connie (Donald) Sawyer, Laura (Rudolph) Kelly, Rosa (David) Hopkins, and Sharon (Dren) Johnson; brothers-in-law, Cyrus (Prestine) Weston, Jacie (Fannie) Weston, Robert (Sarah) Weston, James (Mary) Weston, and Ulysses (Julia) Weston; sisters-in-law, Susie (Jonas) Adams, Rosena (Thomas) Brown, Carrie (Willie) Gridine, and Julia (Glenn) Mitchell; two uncles; six aunts; many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.

 

Jim was preceded in death by his father, Jim Randolph, Sr. and stepfather, Ben Finch.
