Ms. Thomasina “Thoma” M. Dreher Thompson was born on December 1, 1930 in Columbia, South Carolina.  She departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 27, 2010.  She was the daughter of the late Robert L. Dreher and Annie Pickett Dreher.

Thomasina attended the public schools in Richland County, South Carolina.  She was employed at 60 Minutes Dry Cleaners.

She was married to the late Ernest Thompson.  She was preceded in death by four children, Shirley I. Wright, Robert L. Wright, Calvin Thompson, and Darice Wright; her siblings, Virgalee Cunningham, Thelma Miller, Frances Wilson, and Dorothy Long.

Thomasina shared her faith and love, which she instilled in her children.  She leaves to cherish her precious memory and to carry on her legacy of love: her children, Deborah (Marvin) Reeves, Ernestine Thompson, Gene Thompson, Vivian (Leon) Brown, and Andrea Thompson (Bryant Carlos), all of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother, Melvin (Geraldine) Dreher of Columbia, South Carolina; one brother-in-law, Richard Miller; sixteen (16) grandchildren; twenty-five (25) great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; many other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
