Mrs. Annie Mae Perkins Bean was born on
Mrs. Bean attended A & I State College. She met and married Sgt. Herman Bean, and this union was blessed with two children, Herman Douglas, Jr. and Antionette Denise.
She was a dedicated member of
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ella Mae Perkins, and her husband, Herman Bean.
Mrs. Annie Mae Perkins Bean leaves to cherish her precious memory: her two children, Herman Douglas Bean, Jr. and Antionette Denise Bean (Edward) Walker; two grandsons, Lyndon Antonio Bean and Xavier Douglas Bean; one great-grandson, Lyndon Antonio Bean, Jr., all of Columbia, South Carolina; two brothers, James (Rosa) Perkins of Morrison, Tennessee and Lane (Brenda) Perkins of McMinnville, TN; two sisters, Irean (Junior) Brown of Dayton, Ohio and Helen (Rivers) Davis of Louisville, Kentucky; one special niece, Harriett LaVerne Perkins Battles; special friends, Mammie Cruise, Reverend Mary Frances Wilson, Alice Bouttè, and Yolanda Steward; special co-workers, Selvet Freeman, Bonnie Decker, and Sandy Sanglin; a host of nieces, nephews, many other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.
