Condolences to your family. May you receive comfort from the word of God during this time of loss. Acts 24:15 says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Can you imagine the joy of Martha and Mary when Jesus raised Lazarus back to life?—Read John 11:21-24, 38-44. Revelation 21:3,4 promises that one day death, mourning, and outcry will be no more. Please be comforted by the words found at Revelation 21:4 which tell us that "...death will be no more...the former things have passed away." This is Jehovah's promise to all mankind. Sister PBraswell, Columbia SC

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved family member. How comforting to know that when death claims one of our loved ones, others feel our pain, especially our heavenly father. That is why he gives us comfort and encouragement from his word the Bible. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit". And the beautiful promise for the future at Isaiah 25:8 which says; And he (God) will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces. May these Bible truths help you to cope with the sadness and grief during this time of bereavement.
