Please accept my condolences, Mr. Leroy knew my family for a long time and to learn of his passing, we're very sadden because he's a good man with a big big heart of gold. He loves fixing cars and making sweet Patato pies. He was known in his apartment building as "The Preacher Man" he has touched a lot of lives he came across. He was very well respected by many and loved by all. Mr. Leroy will forever be in OUR hearts. He too will live everlasting eternity life in another lifetime.

We offer our love and condolences in the home-going of Deacon Leroy Smith. We all know he loved his family and his God for you could tell in the way he sang the songs of Zion to praise our Lord. Know that he is no longer tired and is at rest in the bosom of our Lord and Savior. Cherish the memories and continue to look to God!

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”—Rom. 12:15.

My condolences to the family in the loss of your dear loved one. There is nothing more painful in life then losing a loved one in death. Our loving God Jehovah understand how you feel because death was not a part of his original purpose for mankind. He gives comfort from his word the Bible to help cope with the loss. Psalm 34:18 says; Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. Very soon now he will fulfill his promise of no more sickness and death by resurrecting dead loved ones back to life on a paradise earth (John 5:28,29). May these scriptures strengthen and comfort you during this sad time. Please visit our website: jw.org for more comfort and view the video; What is the Condition of the Dead?

Please accept our condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Leroy, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on seemingly small, yet precious memories. While doing so, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, our creator, almighty God remembers as well. But only He has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory. Therefore, you can appreciate how the Bible further stress the fact in this video:
