You (God) comforted and soothed me". And the wonderful promise at Psalm 68:20; The true God is for us a God who saves; And Jehovah the Sovereign Lord provides escape from death. Condolences to your family. One may think we will all be forced to confront death sooner or later. Its painful sting has caused many people to search for answers. Why did Jesus compare death to sleep? What can we learn from resurrections recorded in the Bible? Does death end it all? https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/wp20140101/death-is-not-the-end/

My deepest sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time of bereavement. The Bible offers us comfort by reminding us that "God is close to the brokenhearted," (2 Corinthians 1:3). It also promises that he will wipe away all tears from our eyes and death will be no more (Revelation 21:4). Please have faith and trust in God that your loved one will be resurrected (John 6:40).

Death brings a sadness. It is a sting that Satan placed on mankind. May it bring you peace that Jehovah, the God of Comfort, will undo death and bring about a resurrection of our dear loved ones.-John 5:28, 29 and Revelation 24:3,4.

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”—Rom. 12:15.
