Condolences to your family. May you receive comfort from the word of God during this time of loss. Acts 24:15 says there will be a resurrection of the righteous and unrighteous. Can you imagine the joy of Martha and Mary when Jesus raised Lazarus back to life?—Read John 11:21-24, 38-44. Revelation 21:3,4 promises that one day death, mourning, and outcry will be no more. I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. How comforting it is to know that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear Christ’s voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”—Rom. 12:15.

My deepest sympathy in the loss of your dear loved one. Because death was not a part of God's original purpose, when a loved one dies, it hurts so deeply. Our loving heavenly father offers comfort to all that need it. Psalm 147:3 says; He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. And the wonderful promise for the future at Isaiah 25:8; He (God) will swallow up death forever. In the very near future we will never again have to lose a loved one in death.
