I am sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one Gerald. It is so comforting that in the Bible at Revelation 21:3-4 Jehovah God promises a time when sickness and death will be no more. Also at John 5:28 & 29 shows that the dead will live again. They will be raised from the memorial tombs here on earth. Hope this helps some during this difficult time. For more comforting info, go to www dot JW dot org. This was comfort for me during a time when I lost a loved one.

My thoughts are with you and the family and how painful it is to lose a loved one. Please accept my deepest sympathy. May God's love and comfort be with you and the family. “For this is the will of my Father, that everyone that beholds the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him at the last day.” John 6:40

To The Family of Gerald, It is so sad to read of your love one's death. Sadly that old enemy death 1 Corinthians 15:26, has touched every family on the Earth, Romans 5:12. However the Bible gives us hope and comfort, because it says "death will one day end," Isaiah 25:8. Then life on a paradise Earth will become a reality for all obedient mankind, Psalm 37:11,29. To know that God will ( Psalm 83:18), one day eliminate death forever has brought me comfort, and I hope it does for you as well. To the Family, I offer my sincerest condolences to you and yours from the Ford Family. Gerald will surely be missed by many. Squirrel as he was affectionately known as in the Park (Eastway Park) bought joy to many of the crew. Sorry I can not be there as I am now in Alabama. I know his home-going service will be a reunion of the childhood fellows and ladies saying their goodbys. I say to you my brother, farewell and until we meet again slow motion to the end. With love to you Mrs. Powell, Felecia and family, may the Grand Architect of the Universe continue to bless and comfort you.

I would like to offer my condolences for your loss. I hope you will find comfort in knowing that Jehovah, the God of all comfort, will soon eliminate all grief and provide permanent consolation when “all those in the memorial tombs will hear [Christ’s] voice and come out”! (John 5:28, 29) God promises that “he will do away with death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” (Isa. 25:8) Then, instead of having to “weep with those who weep,” all earth’s inhabitants will “rejoice with those who rejoice.”—Rom. 12:15.

Remembering Gerald as a young boy growing up as a very good friend of my brother Charles Watson. He always kept you laughing. he would often stop by our parents home and check on us. I remember that He, Charles and Rosevelt Brown would get together and play some awesome basketball, they were very close. Gerald with that wonderful smile will be truly missed. Family may God continue to Bless and Strengthen you all... I know his Love will always be with you...

My deepest sympathies to the Family in the loss of your dear Gerald. Jehovah God (Psalms 83:18), has promised by means of his son, Christ Jesus (John 5:28,29), to ressurect loved ones back to life on a beautiful and peaceful paradise Earth (Psalms 37:11,29). May this loving promise bring you much comfort at this time.
