My deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved family member. When a loved one falls asleep in death it grieves the heart. The Bible has beautiful and comforting scriptures to help cope with the grief and sadness. Psalm 147:3 says: He (God) heals the brokenhearted; He binds up their wounds. And the promise for the future at Isaiah 26:19; Your dead will live. And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life. The loss of a cherished loved one is the most devastating experiences a family can face. At times, the loss may seem unbearable. Please know that there are family and friends who care and more importantly Psalm 34:18 tells us that "God is near to those that are broken at heart. He is the God of all comfort. God will comfort you during this difficult time of grief. Our prayers are also with you and your family.
