Mrs. Angela Jones Williams

Mrs. Angela Jones Williams was born on March 11, 1963, in Columbia, South Carolina. She was the daughter of Pastor James Jones and Bishop Mozelle Bates Jones. Champ, short for Champion, was the nickname given to her by her father, because she was the best at everything she did. It’s factual, that not only was this name bestowed upon her, but earned. She believed in being number one in everything she did, while teaching her children, to do the same as she did “no matter what it is that we have to do in life, do your best and forget the rest.” She would say our mother had super strength. She was religious and loved life and people. In high school, she ran track and field, winning numerous awards and trophies with dreams of going to the Olympics. She also played the piano, organ, and clarinet, and was very creative. She loved to draw and paint. She was a beautiful outspoken, determined, strong willed, funny, stylish, and life of the party individual. She didn’t let nothing or nobody stop her from doing whatever it was she had to do. For many years, she was a stay at home mom. She did the best she could with the little she had to take care of her children and household. Somehow or another, she managed to make miracles time after time, for that we are grateful. She always believed in self-care. In life, every challenge she faced in life, she faced head on. Her strong will determination, and preservation will never be matched Angela Jones Williams has set the bar. Angie, she is truly indeed our Champion! We love you forever you will be dearly missed. Rest in Peace, Mama Mrs. Angela Jones Williams leaves to cherish her precious memory: her loving husband, Jeffery Williams; her children, Amanda Williams, Leslie Williams, Ashley Williams, and Jeffery Williams; two grandchildren, Jaylen Jeter and Jamari Dennis; her sister, Delphine Lewis; along with a host of other relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss Angela dearly.
