  1. Pat and I were friends when we were students at Spelman and Morehouse in the 60’s. We later reconnected when she came to Orlando in the 70’s to start a dance studio for poor kids. We reunited again on Facebook a few years ago but she has been inactive for a while so I have been wondering what happened to her. I posted a story about my missing friend on my timeline yesterday (March 21, 2023) and a reader mentioned this obituary. I am sad.

  3. I knew and admired Patricia in Miami. And although we had not seen each other for some years, I am saddened to learn of her passing. She was a lovely and most talented person and her death has deprived the world of all that she could have contributed

  4. Today is a sad day to learn of the passing of โ€œDiannโ€ she was my big sister, mother and friend. I was her babysitter for JJ and Piper.
She mole me into the woman I am today. Rest with the angels in heaven.

  6. I am one of Patriciaโ€™s Spelman Sisters. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to have several lunches with her and have phone conversations with her on several occasions here in Columbia. Pat was a delightful person and I am shocked and heartbroken to hear of her transitioning. Go easy Pat, you will be missed. ๐Ÿ’โœ๏ธ๐Ÿ’
