Mr. Willie Jay Domaneck was born October 25, 1936, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was the son of the late Marie Dreher and James Washington. He departed this life on Friday, October 1, 2021.

Willie was a United States Military Veteran with years of honorable service to his country.  He worked and retired from Seaco Trucking Company.   Willie was a brave man who loved the Lord. He had a heart of gold and never met a stranger.  If you knew him, you knew that you would have gotten a preaching to you one time or another.

He loved his family, especially his three children. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Willie loved to jog, walk, work, talk, did I say talk? He enjoyed being outdoors, cutting grass, you name anything outside he did it. But out of all the things he loved it was the Lord. He talked about God, every chance he got, if you listened. He also loved to read his Bible front to back.

He was preceded in death by: two sisters, Betsy Dreher and Viola Williams; brothers, Olin Boyd, Nolan Boyd, Henry Cannon, JW Washington, Charles Washington, and Leon Washington.

Mr. Willie Jay Domaneck leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Marie Domaneck; children, Lakesha Domaneck, Tamika (Kendre) Wise, and Tyrone Gunter; six grandchildren, Tybresha Domaneck, Brittney Domaneck, Eric Domaneck, TyQuajah Gunter, Kendre Wise, Jr., and Kenden Wise; one great-grandchild, Xavier Bickerstaff, Jr.; two brothers, James Washington and Willie Albert Washington; one sister-in-law, Geraldine Anderson; two brothers-in-law, Wade Anderson and Leon Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss him.
