Little Miss Ka’Mya Taylor Harris, affectionately known as Ta-Ta, gracefully took a ride on one of God’s sunsets on Friday, October 29, 2021.  When God’s sun rose on August 29, 2018, He allowed us the pleasure of seeing her beautiful face for the first time.  She was the ray of sun that made her mother, LaQuenya L. Harris, smile daily.

Princess Taylor was an amazing little girl who made her presence known in any room she entered.  She was a bright and bubbly child who shared her ray of sunshine through her smiles and warmed your heart with her hugs. But, don’t let her smile fool you, because she would fight you.  She was made up of both sugar and spice.  To her Auntie, she was sassy, loving, sweet, and larger than life.  To Uncle Gerald, she was playful, beautiful, and energetic, Uncle Brandon called her feisty, loving, and caring, Nay called her the most goofy hardhead lovable child ever.  For those of you who don’t know, Little Miss Ta-Ta worked as a home health nurse aide, who’s clients just loved and adored her.

Little Miss Ka’Mya Taylor Harris’ precious memory is left to be treasured by: her mother, La’Quenya Harris; Derick Goodwin; her sister, Kamaree Harris; brother, Jamari Harris; soon-to-be-little brother, Jakai Goodwin, all of the home; her maternal grandparents, Ms. Erika Hall and Mr. Roderick Harris, Sr., both of Columbia, SC; aunt, Mrs. Sierra (Brad) Knight, of Columbia, SC; uncles, Mr. Gerald (Ashley) Hall and Mr. Brandon Harris, all of Columbia, SC; cousins, Da’Nasia, Malik, John III, Ariyana, Amelia, Ronald “BJ”, Lauren, Brooklyn, and Brayden; a special cousin and best friend, Carson Scott; her adored godparents, Franklin Powe and Tammera Drake, of Cheraw, SC; godsisters, Laterra Powe, Shamiya Melton, and Tykira McCaskill; godbrother, Antonio McCaskill; godparents Pope and Nana, Bruce  and Diane Hall, and a host of other loving relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her.

She was preceded in death by: her uncle, Roderick “Bay Bay” Harris, Jr.; cousin, Gerald Hall, Jr.; great-grandparents, Willie (Willie Alice) Hall, Sr. and John (Virginia) Harris; great-godmother, Patricia Johnson Hall; great-uncles, Willie Hall, Jr., Derek C.N. Hall, and Timothy Harris.
