  1. My prayers and condolences to the family. I just got the message, that passed. We were class mates. When I got married I moved away from Columbia.

There is a gem missing from our treasure chest! These shining jewels so wondrous to behold ground us in the reality of mortality.

I’m a member of an extended family embraced by the Garvins’. Without thought, a relationship developed that blended our families! Tom and Betty became an uncle and aunt, cousin and friend. They adopted us into their family and us into ours. Such a wonderful relationship!

We are missing another gem in our treasure chest! Betty, you have been my road running, shotgun riding, and shopping partner. Now you’re running with a safer driver than I’ll ever be! Betty, you will continue to be a shining jewel in the place that is beyond our hearts. Thank you, Gregg
