Momma I will always and forever remember the bond we had. This was truly hard for me, but I know In My heart. U had support doing your preparation for the after life. Another branch has fallen off the Brown Family Tree, but not out of our hearts. Remembering Aunt Julia’s life and legacy of who she was to all of us. Whether that time was a short length or time or long length of time, Aunt Julia has made a lasting impact towards us all, near and far. I’ve observed how she “tirelessly” taken care of my grandmother, her mom, Estelle Brown Kennedy a/k/a “Big Momma” until her last day on earth, took in Uncle Y.X., her eldest brother during his illness until his passing. She had a welcoming and nurturing way and presence about her and made sure that before you left, you had something to eat, and anything else within her power you need which is a true trait of “southern hospitality”. A woman of valor, integrity, class and honor. A true classification of WIFE, MOTHER, GRANDMOTHER, AND AUNT, in the flesh and soul of this unique woman…JULIA BROWN KERSHAW.
