  2. Aunt cat

Sweeter than the sweets that she loved to eat, so kind and gentle, Uncle C.D. definitely found himself a winner.

She always had a smile,  so bright,  like a star in the night light.

So dainty and so cute, soft spoken and a joy to meet. Sophisticated with style and class. Very sensitive most definitely a representative of a southern Georgia peach.

Auntie although you’re not here I wouldn’t trade you for the world. Uncle CD bought us home a jewel from Georgia who had a humble spirit, compassionate heart. You were unique,  specially made by God from your head to your feet.
If I had to choose a new Aunt it would be you again because to me you were a win win. I was a 13 year old girl when Unk bought you home . I can see why he married you because your truly a PEARL.

So Auntie get your rest, you gave us your best. Uncle CD, Candy, Ramone they are never alone. They now have this beautiful Angel they can always call on.

  3. Easter was a wonderful teacher and friend to all! She was always so positive and loved by all who had the honor of knowing her. I loved her smile and that twinkle in her eye. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel.

I am so sorry for the loss of a very dear soul. May God comfort Clarence, Candy and Ramon and give you peace. My prayers are with you all during this difficult time.

  6. This hurts my heart to see you leave us, but we all know God has a special place for you in heaven. I still can hear you telling me ” you better look after your sister and take care of your wife” and you would tell me where you and CD were traveling to next. I love you and we all will miss you Auntie

  7. Dear Clarence, Candace & Ramone, may God continue to comfort, keep & carry you. I’ve learned lasting lessons from Easter, my teaching comrade & friend. Her faith, grace & beauty would always uncover a special gift in every child, parent, teacher, & person she met. Even in challenging situations, she modeled how to pray, be courageous, & press-on. Her loving lessons of how to “do life” will always be remembered.

  9. …. Each one of my four brothers brought into our family, four ‘Queens’, that bore prince and princesses…ya’ll know the story…
But, Easter (Cat) my youngest ‘Queen Sister was exceptional…She was soft but strong, she was mild yet tenuous, and one of her best qualities was her ability to be quiet and present at the very same time. I love her.
So on the afternoon that she joined the ‘other Angels’, I walked into her room and she was clear eyes and gazing around the room. I asked my brother, what were you saying to her? He said, I was telling her of our many friends who had been calling and asking about her and praying for her and that he was actually calling out some of the many names.
So one of the things that I will remember about my beloved Sister, is that moment of pure calm and clarity, that reminded me of a passage from a book, that was gifted me, entitled, Angels.
It says, Angels, content with their fame in Heaven,
Seek not the praise of Men.

  16. My condolence to the Dickerson family. I am deeply sorry for your loss. May the God of comfort, 2 Cor. 1:3,4 comfort you and soothe your heart during this most difficult time as we await the promises of Revelation 21:4 to be fulfilled here on earth. Acts 24:15 assures us that love ones fallen asleep in death will be remembered in the resurrection. The resurrection is a guarantee because of Jesus faith death. Acts 17:31. May the peace that comes from the memories shared of Easter bring you comfort now and the difficult days to come.

  19. What can I say. Easter was a beautiful woman. Her smile always stuck with you. I am happy that she is free from all the trouble in sickness that life bestowed upon her, but happy that she doesn’t have to be bothered by it any more. I’m sad that I won’t see that smile on this side again. Get your rest cousin until we meet again l.💔💜

  22. Easter was a beautiful person inside and out. I had the pleasure of working with her at Nursery Road Elementary School and knowing her in Delta Kappa Gamma. She was an inspiration to everyone she worked with and was loved dearly by her students and their parents. She was the kind of teacher and friend who should be cloned again and again. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by so many, including me. My heart goes out to all in her family. She talked of you all often and sweetly.

  23. CD, I was so sorry to hear your your lose. The love of a good wife is a blessing and I know you will truly miss her dearly. When my husband died I kept this scripture in mind, John 5:28 and 29. It speaks how our love ones will be resurrected. Haven’t seen you for a long time but family is family. Love you much your cousin. Lillian Boles COrnelius.

  25. Easter was one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. I was blessed to be on the 2nd grade dream team with her at Dutch Fork when I started my teaching career. I fell in love with her beautiful hats and sunshine personality. To this day, I still have a gold angel Christmas ornament that I hang with care each year with “Love Easter” written on the bottom. Her memory will always be cherished. Prayers for your family to find peace and comfort.

Always so jovial ❤️ which is why it was so easy to love her
I’ve always called Aunt Cat and Uncle CD my 2nd set of parents. They showed up to my college graduation with big smiles on their faces. I’m going to miss my Aunt Cat. She had even stolen Roxy’s heart.
Her and Uncle Cd made visits to the house . Aunt Cat would dig through the candy jar in such excitement . She loved to eat candy and mama always made sure we had more than enough for her to snack on when she came. I’m going to miss her. But don’t cry for her. She is now FREE ❤️ I love you Auntie !!!!!
