  7. Momma, my heart is so heavy right now. I miss you more than words can express. I didn’t do right and come and see you as often as I could have, but every time I called or texted you, every time you called me your love for me was so apparent. You help raise me. I was so young and so dumb, LOL, but you looked after me and taught me how to cook and clean and take care of your grandbabies. You told me about myself when you caught me telling tales or doing the wrong thing. And when I was at my whit’s end, YOU SAVED MY LIFE and you told me that I was going to be okay. You were right, you were always right. I love you more than words can express. I am so glad I got to see you before you gained your wings. I’m so glad you called me! I am so glad I got to kiss you goodbye. I will always remember you calling me your daughter. I will always remember that your last words to me was that you loved me. I will forever be grateful. Forever. I love you.

    With all of me.

  10. On behalf of our family, Candice and I would like to extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the Harts/Javis/Williams families. Ms. Shirley (Shell as she was affectionately known) was such a delightful person. She always had a wonderful demeanor and positive disposition. She played an integral role, along with her sister Barbara, with the development of our kids and they consider them their Auntie Shell and Nana Barbara. It truly broke our heart to hear of her transition but we also knew she was suffering and that she sent up her timber for a resting place in heaven. She’ll get to be reunited with her loved ones and while we mourn her passing, we celebrate her because of who she was. We’re praying that you all will get peace that exceeds all understanding and know that God has you all covered.

    Sincerely,

    Michael, Candice, Allie, Avery, Aidan.

  39. Our hearts are truly broken to lose another sibling and only God can heal the hurt we are feeling. We watched our love one go through ten weeks of pain and suffering, but we do know that she is alright now. Shirley was a good hearted person who loved sharing her food with her neighbors across the street. She shared all of her clothing with her friends who was in need, and she shared all her hugs, kisses, laughter and love with her Children, Grand-children, Sisters, Brother, Cousins Niece’s, Nephew’s and Friends until she transitioned to be with her HEAVENLY FATHER. Now she can go and share that same joy with her Father, Mother, two Brother and two Sisters. I can only imagine how happy they were to see her again. I can see Toni and Gwen saying to her ” come on Shell as she was affectionately called by her siblings. There’s no more tears, pains or misery here. Everyday is peace, happiness and joy. On October 6, Shirley, in the early hours of the night, God called her name and she answered the called. She will definitely be missed by her siblings that’s left behind, but they realize that she could not face another day like the day before. She was tired and ready to go to be with the Lord. Although we are grieving, and hurting, we do know that JOY will come in the morning. Shirley, we LOVE YOU, but GOD LOVES YOU BEST. Rest in peace. Love, Your Big Sister and your other Sister’s and Brother’s. Gone, but will never be forgotten.
