  1. Doug,

There are not enough words to truly describe the remarkable human being you were..so I’m not going to try. Just know that you were literally one of the smartest and coolest guys I ever met! Filled with wisdom and a great sense of humor, and even more impressive, you never let whatever obstacles you had stop or hinder your motivation for what you truly wanted to do. We shared a lot of laughs and adventures together all while helping many people along the way…and I promise to continue down that path of outreach and uplifting! Love you brother!

  3. To Doug’s Family,

Doug volunteered at Transitions Homeless Center for years as a part of the Veteran’s Formation group. He worked with our unhoused veterans and always offered them encouragement. Doug was extremely caring towards everyone and always gave of his time so generously. He was unable to come here the last few years because of his health and COVID, but we are grateful for his service and contribution to improving many of our clients’ lives.
