  57. I met Mr. Rearden through teaching Mental Health First Aid with Brookland-Lakeview Empowerment Center and LRADAC. Mr. Rearden was such a kind soul, and genuine supporter of all public health initiatives. To meet him was to understand that he did all things in sincerity and with heart, because he truly wanted to make a difference in our community and help people โ€” not just to make a living. Over the past few years, Mr. Rearden became an avid supporter of many initiatives I was involved in, as he always devoted himself to helping as much as possible. He was present at each and every mental health training I taught, and no matter how many times he saw me teach the same exact curriculum, he always made sure to tell me that I was doing a great job. My deepest condolences to the Rearden family. May your memories of Reginald bring you comfort and peace during this difficult time. He was truly a light in this world and he will be dearly missed.
