  1. I am writing this with sadness in my heart today. I am so hurt that I did speak with my dear friend before her death. I would say even tho our friendship was only for several years when we spoke it was like we knew each other for long many years. We laughed about how much alike our mothers were. My condolences to Mr James Mixon and children. She was such a joyous, kind and loving person whom I will greatly miss. Rosemary I am so sorry we didn’t get to make that last gathering but will never forget you and your kindness. The time we worked together at the Guard was precious.

  2. To James and the Mixon family. My heart is heavy, because I have loss a very dear friend. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. I pray God’s comforting spirit surround you and the entire family with some peace during your time of sorrow. Rosemary and I met at Fort Stewart , GA, while working as Community Health Nurses in Preventive Medicine Service. That friendship continued at a distance until her departure. I remember and will miss our hour long, laughter conversations. She always talked about the love she had for her family, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. James, Rosemary loved you and truly appreciated how you cared for her during her illness. She was a loving friend, wife and mother. Miss you already my friend, but I am grateful for the beautiful memories I have of you.

  14. To Mr James Mixon and family. It is in my deepest sympathy I write these remarks regarding Mrs Rosemary M Mixon. She was an uplifting and gregarious person throughout her longstanding sickness. She never seemed to complain about her sickness outwardly. She stayed focused on her family whom she adored very much. She enjoyed life and lived it to her fullest capacity. I enjoyed knowing her as an awesome friend and longtime neighbor. I am certain her physical presence will be greatly missed by many but the precious memories we have of her will last forever.
