  2. Thomas Wilson was a good kind hearted man who always put the needs of others before his own, and whose warm smile could light up a room. We sometimes would be at odds, but the one thing about him that will always stand out is he never promoted jealousy, he always seen the positivity in people, and celebrated their successes as if they were his own. I’m glad to have been his son, because he passed that virtue on to me and others who share his affiliation, teaching us the importance of uplifting and supporting one another. He led by example, showing me that being kind, compassionate, and genuinely interested in others is a strength, not a weakness. Throughout the years, I witnessed him go out of his way to help those in need, offering a listening ear, a comforting word, or a helping hand, always with a humble and gentle spirit. His selfless nature and unwavering optimism inspired me to be a better person, and I will be forever grateful for the lessons he taught me, both explicitly and implicitly. As I look back on the time we shared, I realize that his greatest legacy is not what he achieved in his own life, but the positive impact he had on the lives of those around him, including mine.
