Ms. Dot was very special….She as a fellow hairstylist,would bring her mom for me to cut her hair…..She said …Johnnie, Mama loves you…..You can get her to sit and get her hair done with no complaints…..I loved her for entrusting me with the company of two beautiful spirits….As a young stylist back then …it meant so much to me. Ms. Dot was the “Pressing” Queen and loved the profession.
I will always remember her smile and soothing spirit.

I was deeply saddened to hear about Dorothy’s passing. Even though I haven’t seen you in many years, I have such fond memories of our time together. Dorothy was a special person. Sending you all my love, strength and prayers during this difficult time.
To Ann(her daughter)Sending my condolences. Ms Weeks was very special to me. We met in dillard’s 2006,told her i was moving to SC. from NY. arrived in june 2008 she became my beautician until 2017 I used to pick her up and take her back home just a wonderful person and quiet knowledgeable.
She was a person to be admired. Very fashionable.

Ms. Dot as I knew her by, meeting her years ago where she worked at Kimberly’s hair salon. She was a ray of sunshine in the shop and will be greatly missed. Get your rest Ms. Dot im so glad God allowed our paths to cross. To your family my condolences 🙏
