To my dear classmate and friend Apostle Alvin Green. Mary and I are saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved wife Apostle Alva Green. We are praying that happy memories will help you through this difficult time. We share in your sorrow.

Words cannot express how deeply sorry I am to hear of the passing of your beautiful, sweet, soft spoken mom/wife. Heaven has gained another angel who will be greatly missed. May God comfort you all during this time. As you (Dante) and I conversed when my mom passed 3yrs ago about the passing of mother’s – hold on to the memories my dear friend. It’s gonna be good days and some crying days, but it’s going to be overall good because you know she is with the Master. Love you all and my prayers are with you during this time.

They were our neighbors for over 12 years when we lived in Meadowlake. Right across the street and we had a special neighbor bond which also included the Ervins. So many wonderful memories. Our family (The Rich Family) had so much respect for the Green Family. I can see Mrs. Green waving, smiling and speaking from across the street. A beautiful and awesome Woman of God. My husband and I would run into the both of them sometimes while having breakfast.

My deepest condolences are with the family and friends of the dearly beloved Alva Green. I recently saw her at Walgreens and we chatted briefly so I was so surprised to hear of her passing. Minister Alva was a very kind and loving person with a heart and smile that left a lasting impression. I pray that Pastor Alvin and family will be strengthened and comforted in this difficult and yet glorious time knowing that Alva is with the Lord who loves her best.
