It was with profound sadness that I learned of the passing of Your Dear Mother. She truly was a remarkably sweet and gentle soul, and her radiant spirit brought warmth and comfort to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her kindness, My Sincere Condolences.Dee Golson and Family

  3. Grace and peace to the Phelps family. Praying for you guys as you celebrate the life of Mrs Lillie Phelps.

She was A big boss wrapped up in a little package. I remember when I started working for Mr. Phelps as a healthcare agent. Mrs Phelps let me know at that moment what she likes and what she didn’t like. Sometimes people were confused to who I was really there to help. I never explained myself, but I always made it clear that I was there to assist in any way I could for the both of them. Thank you children for allowing me to watch after your parents. I celebrate today that a strong beautiful angel has gained her wings.

To the Phelps and Edmond family I leave a scripture psalms 34:18 the Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart, in favor, such as be of a contrite spirit. KJV

  8. Dear Kaleb and Family,

On behalf of DD&J Junior Tennis Foundation, please accept our heartfelt condolences in the passing of your grandmother, Mrs. Lillie Phelps.

Kaleb has always been a special part of the DD&J family, having come up through our Junior Tennis Program, and we are deeply saddened to hear of this loss. Though we did not get to spend much time with Mrs. Phelps, we know that she played a great part in your village and in your life because of the great young man you have turned out to be.

Please know that we are keeping you and your family lifted in prayer during this difficult time. May God comfort your hearts, strengthen you in the days ahead, and surround you with peace and loving memories.

    With deepest sympathy,

    Domino & Jackie Boulware

Our hearts are, once again, sadden by the passing of your Mother, our Aunt Lillie Ruth. She is wrapped in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and the love of her life, Uncle Lonzo whom she loved dearly, missed terribly and spoke of often. We pray that you find peace, comfort and strength in the Lord during this difficult time. We love you both.
Rest In Heaven Aunt Lil 🙏🏽❤️

    YOUR MOTHER
Although you cannot hear her voice
or see her smile no more,
Your Mother walks beside you still
    just as she did before.
    She listens to your stories
and she wipes away your tears,
she wraps her arms around you
    and she understands your fears.
    It’s just she isn’t visible
to see with the human eye
but talk to her in silence
    and her spirit will reply.
You’ll feel the love she has for you,
you’ll hear her in your heart,
    she’s left her human body
but your souls will never part.

  10. Thinking of the family of Ms. Lillie Phelps, whose dear husband & my dear friend, Alonzo, slipped the surly bonds of earth not very long ago in November of 2025.

May their reunion , once again, as a loving couple, be as joyous as it was during their earthly lives together.

Family, may you be surrounded by God’s favor as you once again visit a time such as this. But especially, may your many memories of your loving parents continue to sustain you through this bereavement period and beyond as Alonzo & Ms. Lillie are once again united as one.

Lovingly submitted as one who attended school at Monroe Pinckney in Swansea, SC as a five year old who couldn’t enroll in Richland One until the age of seven.
