Will continue to keep the Saunders family in prayer during this trying time. Cousin Harold was definitely one of a kind. I will cherish those special moments and the stories he use to tell. There was never a dull moment when he was around.
My Deepest Condolences for your loss. I pray for your peace and comfort during this difficult time. With all my Love ❤️
I can honestly say I have known Harold Junior (Nick) all of my life since we were sisters’ children. He was more like a brother to me, along with my two birth brothers as I was the youngest of the four growing up in Knoxville. I remember his spending a year in Detroit, his graduation from high school and his induction in the Army soon afterwards. Even as a child, Nuck was dressed like a million dollars and that continued throughout his adulthood.
As the only child of his mother, he was a treasure to all of his aunts and uncles. Every time he came home on leave, he trekked to my mother’s (Aunt Annie Lee) home as he knew she had cooked his favorite meal. Eating two home cooked meals a day during his visits never added weight to his mid-section.
I will miss my cousin, as will all of cousins who have known Nuck throughout his life. We love and was loved by him. We were so elated that he attended the Danzy Family Reunion in 2019 before his health took an unrecoverable path. He is resting peacefully surrounded by who we called the “Big Four”. May our God wrap His Arms around him as Harold is happy and blessed.
My sincere condolences to the Sanders family. May God comfort and keep you during your hours of bereavement.

Dear Harold and Family,
Praying for you all-so sorry for your loss.
My condolences to the Sanders family. May you Rest In Peace Harold 🙏🏽
To the Sanders Family—
Words can not express how I feel at this very moment. I met Harold in the late 90’s and he was in search of
Furniture . Harold had excellent taste.
He would often times come into the store and browse . Years later he called looking for a white bedroom group for his grand daughter/ we didn’t have any at the time , but he asked me to call around and see if I could locate one for him. Harold knew what he wanted and determined to get just that. Of, course, I could not find one for him .
I’m saying this to say the love Harold showed for not only his grand daughter but, his family and friends. I know your hearts are heavy and like that bedroom group I could not find for Harold, I can not find any words that will wipe away the hurt you feel today. I can leave you with this one thing, God is the answer , he can fill the void because he promise to never leave us or forsake us .
My Deepest Sympathy and Condolences May you find peace and understanding and know that God never makes mistakes in calling his child home to a better place. Remember the Good times to hold on to memories. God Bless
