I just found out an amazing person passed away in Aug 2020. ;-( My heart is heavy Bill Wolf was my maintenance officer when I was stationed at Kadena AB Okinawa, Japan in the 80’s in the 18th EMS as a Pro Super. I learned so much from Bill Wolf who was a Capt. at the time. He was so smart but always treated people with respect and dignity. He taught me not to sweat the small stuff. I worked a 12-hr. shift from 1900 to 0700. Capt. wolf would often call the control center informing them to call me on the radio telling them to have me give him a call on the landline. I would call him; he would tell me if nothing was pressing to meet him at the gym to play racket ball. This always lifted my spirits although I could never beat him. He was a great guy whom I loved being around. God speed RIH!
