Mr. Ahmari N. Harley

Mr. Ahmari Nhyzhi Harley was affectionately known as George and Craig Melvin to family and friends. He was born to Antwon Harley and Tasharah McCord on January 21, 2004 in Columbia, South Carolina. He departed this earthly life on Thursday, July 15, 2021 in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ahmari attended W. J. Keenan High School in Columbia, South Carolina, where he was a raising senior, Class of 2022. He was also a member of Fresh Oil Ministries. Ahmari was a free spirit who enjoyed listening to music, talking on the telephone, pulling pranks, joking, and playing the PlayStation, along with cousins, Des and Quan. He was preceded in death by: his grandfather, Anthony “Poppie” Wigfall; great-grandmother, Claudia Cooper; three special cousins, Zi’yonna Mann, Andrea Hightower, and Harriett Richardson. Mr. Ahmari Nhyzhi Harley will forever be cherished by: his father, Antwon (Courtney) Harley; mother, Tasharah (Justin) McCord, of Columbia, SC; brothers, Charles “DJ” Murray, Jr. Tyuan Smith, Kaison Anthony, A’dyn Smith, Austin Smith, Jace Marshall, Darreun Miller, Jr., all of Columbia, South Carolina; sisters, Anaija Harley, Tanaiyah Smith, Tyroneka Fuller, Jalyn Hightower, My’Niqua Hampton; grandmothers, Sandra (Vernon) Burroughs, Wileeta Wigfall; special great-grandmother, Ethel Harley, of Columbia, SC; grandfather, Thomas Mitchell, of Columbia, SC; uncles, Patrick (Eartha) Harley, Thomas Harley, of Columbia, SC, Rashawn (Nicole) Frost, of New Jersey, Devoyd Mitchell, of Baltimore, Maryland; aunts, Kathy Carter, of New Jersey, and Amber Harley and Tyrese Hightower, both of Columbia, SC; great-uncles, Ernest (Terri) Harley, Chris Harley, Berkeley (Debra) Cooper, George O.
