I met Alphonso at Mrs. Elise Martin’s house. It was comforting to see they cared about and trusted each other.
He provided services to her above and beyond her requests. He planted flowers and continued to care for her yard, including after she moved away.
Alphonso will be missed.

I just found out my dear friend passed Saturday. My heart is sad. We spoke weekly.. Mrs. Elise Martin (Mamalise) and many others adored him. His punctuality, creativity, as a groundskeeper (yard, flowers, etc. truly one of a kind.. I met Fonz 55+ years ago. Fonz remembered everyone’s names and birthdays. Everytime we spoke we would laugh about something. “May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest” 🕊 Sandra
