  30. My sincere condolences to Deaconess Helen Schumpert, Bobby Jr, Helisa and family.
My grandparents, Handy and Minnie Lee Wheeler, my siblings and I lived down the street and around the corner in Saxon Homes. We walked that route to your house so many times. We grew up, not only in the neighborhood but also in the same church, Mt Zion Baptist Church in Chapin.
We rode to church with you all, as my grandparents did not drive. You all felt like family to us. He is sorely missed. My heart goes out to you all, and may God continue to bless you.

I remember when Mr. And Mrs. Shumpert would come to Belk Richland Mall and just brighten my day . The smiles, laughter and just catching up when I would ask about Bobby and Helisa. It was a pleasure meeting the mighty Shumpert duo, those moments will never be forgotten. Rest easy Mr. Shumpert ….
