  7. Sincerest condolences to the Bates family. Mr. Bates was a larger-than-life figure to my sister and I, and we were happy to have known him for so many years. The Russell family extends our heartfelt prayers and kind thoughts during this time, and feel a sense of comfort in knowing that BooBoo is now reunited in heaven with his parents, Lucy and Willie.

  13. To the Bates family:
You all are in my prayers. I pray God will give you strength. Mr.B. also known as Boo, Boboo will be missed dearly. He was a very good man who put others first. He would get on me about going to doctors and taking my medicines. I would ask him are you taking your medicine and did you eat today, and he would say yes. He was an unselfish person. I will always remember his last words at the hospital to me. I told him others and I are praying for you and he said so plain (PRAY FOR EVERYBODY).
I love you my friend and may you rest in peace… Jody
