  2. We said our final goodbyes to you today and I’m still in disbelief. Your presence lit up every room, and it’s hard to imagine our world without you in it. But I know you’re still with us, shining through in all the little moments and memories. I’ll miss your smile, your laugh, your hugs and kisses, bickering back and forth, and everything in between. Your service was absolutely beautiful and every detail was tailored to your style. I love you big cousin. Keep watching over us and protecting us. Until we meet again 🙏🏽💙🪽

  5. I had the pleasure of working with Cory at Amazon since we first launched BNA6 Night shift. I remember thinking to myself when I first met Cory that I’ve never met someone with so much personality. So much potential. So outgoing, so friendly , so hard-working. Cory was the epitome of an amazing human being. I only knew Cory for 3 months but it’s felt like 3 years. Cory had a special way of making everyone he encountered feel so close to him. I’m forever grateful for every moment that I was blessed to have spent with the young man. You’ll hold a special place in my heart, Cory. Rest Easy, brother.

  7. Cory, this breaks my heart writing this. Over the years we got so much closer through work and we went from friends to like family! You and Lex was their for me and my kids through so many hard times it does not seems real that you ain’t going to be here to cheer me on or put me in my place when I need it anymore. . I’m gonna miss you being silly just to make us all smile when we had a bad day or us calling you with any questions we had. Just know I thank you for everything you did for the kids and I. Rest easy work husband until I see you again!!! I love you!

  10. Mr. & Mrs. McKie….I do not know the family, however, I extend my deepest condolences. Also, remember “when storms come your way, just remember you know the Master of the Wind, when sickness finds you, remind yourself you know the Great Physician, when your heart gets broken, just say I know the Potter. It doesn’t matter what we face or go through, Jesus is the way, the truth & the life. He is everything we need. I pray that God grant the entire family with peace, comfort & strength. Love y’all.

  19. DeVon, you had my heart from the very first moment … Aliyah had thrown up in her car and you rescued the escaped dog with my baby sitting on your shoulders. After all that we sat talking for hours. As my fingers type this I wish that I could pull you by the hand to bring you back to each of us aching for your presence. My promise to you is now as it was then and will continue to be . Until we meet once again . 🫶🏼

I’m thankful for all the time we got together and all those long talks we had. You were a great father and I’m praying for those babies and your family. You had so much love from your Tennessee family 💔 rest easy Devon

I know I’ve only know you for a year and some months but within those times we had our ups and downs. Times were I couldn’t stand your ass to coming to you about personal issues. I know we aren’t blood but you were that brother that I needed. I’m glad I met you and made many memories with you that I will now cherish. Sweet pea and I, love you . Rest easy💙

  38. Devon, truly miss by all who loved you. When l think of the childhood memories of you, l chuckled how you tried to imitate some of my ways, how much you looked up to your older brother. The admiration and love you had for your grandma Earline. I can still heard in my head conversation you would have with her when we talk. May the God of all who comforts each of us as we celebrate the life of our beloved Devon. May the peace of God rest and abide in our hearts, believing that absence from this world but present with the Lord. Rejoice, Rejoice. Auntie Mae & Kenya

  42. May God be with you all (The McKie Family) during this time of sorrow. I am a co-worker of Cory’s here @ Amazon in Clarksville, TN. The young Bull had a bright future ahead of him. I’m saddened to see it being taken away at such a young age. I talked briefly with Cory early Thursday morning of last week regarding some work things I felt he needed to clean up before he could progress career wise here at Amazon. The young Bull promised that he would handle those issues upon his return to work going forward. He’s never returning. SMH! His energy around the Inbound Dock and throughout the facility will be missed. Two of his favorite phrases was “Ya feel me?” “On God!” Now he’s with God. Rest easy young Bull!
