MSGT (Ret.) Don Edward Jackson was born on September 26, 1956, in Richland County, SC. He was the son of the late Charles E. and Louise T. Jackson. He departed his earthly life on Monday, November 22, 2021.

After over 20 years of service in the military, he retired as a Master Sergeant, and returned to his hometown of Gadsden, SC.
He was baptized at an early age, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In his adult years, he attended Mt. Nebo Baptist Church.
He was also preceded in death by: his brother, Clayton Cornish; and sister, Sabrena Goodwin.
Don was a doting uncle, caring brother, and overall charitable person. He loved to live life to the fullest, especially with his cousins, Myra Brown, Wilnet Tucker, and very good friend, Stephanie Neal. He loved to read books, study the stars, travel, and was always in the know when it came to fashion and news.
