As I write these words I can remember my friend.
Yet he was more than a friend.
We met long ago at our work place.
He took me under his wings like a brother would do.
It’s so much laughter and so many tears we shared together.
The loss of our mothers was devastating to us both.
Yes we loved our mothers deeply.
The thing about us we understood each other.
The bond that was created between us was tested.
Yet it survived and was never broken in life.
We kept in contact and I was just thinking about my brother.
I didn’t know the battle he was going last week but he came up in conversation.
He had faith and believe he could win and never claimed defeat.
This is who we was horah for a marine in war and life.
Most of all my brother and friend who I loved as family.
Your brother Golston
Get you some rest bro you earned it 🙏🏽
