A friend, a brother in Christ. Donald, who would make you laugh one moment & aggravate the next. One with a heart of gold, who’d go the 2nd mile for friend or stranger. One who loved life & food… especially fresh fish, kimchee, but most of all grilled steak & a good baked potato!
One who loved fishing, camping, & grilling, Gospel music, & old Westerns.
He’ll be missed but fondly remembered as allowing his “anchor” to continue holding on to his Heavenly Father.
We at the Woodfield Park Baptist Church truly miss our brother in Christ. Donald always had a beautiful smile each time we saw him at church or any church event. He was the taller person in our church so you couldn’t miss Donald. I will never forget his favorite saying when ask before or after church what you going to eat today and Donald would say “Big Juicy Steak and Potatoes.” You couldn’t but laugh and say well enjoy. So our beloved Donald Ellis has and will be missed by his church family. My veteran friend Donald Ellis take your rest now. We have an Angel that will be among us now.
