Mr. Eddie Richard Tobias

Mr. Eddie Richard Tobias, age 74, was born on March 20, 1947. He was the son of June Tobias, Sr. and Ruby Bennie Suber Tobias. “Wings of Freedom” transitioned him to be with his Heavenly Father at the William m Jennings Bryan Dorn Medical Center. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021. He was a 1965 C. A. Johnson graduate as well as a member of the football team. He enrolled into the College of Pharmacy, at University of South Carolina. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1966. Mr. Tobias was preceded in death by: his father: June Tobias, Sr.; mother, Ruby Suber Tobias; and sister, Gertrude Tobias Mann. Mr. Eddie Richard Tobias is survived by: his sister, Valeria Tobias Hundley; brother, June (Geralean)Tobias, Jr.; nieces, Candace H. Kamate, Beverly H. Johnson, and Shelia H. (Ronald) Smalls; nephews, Victor L. Hundley, Jr., Gerod Tobias, Sidney Tobias, Bruce Tobias, Corey L. Johnson, Dave H. Mann, Bennie W. Mann, Jr., Ibrahim I. Kamate, Travis Smalls, Brian (Sonya) Smalls, Victor Hundley, III, Stephen Hundley, and Victor E. Kamate; other relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
