Mr. Evan Isaiah Venable

Evan Venable, affectionately known as Elbow, by his grandfather, Pa Jack, transitioned at the age of 20 years old on Tuesday, June 1, 2021. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, uncle, nephew and friend. Evan graduated from Brookland Cayce High School in 2018. He was enrolled at Midlands Technical College Airport Campus pursuing his Engineering Degree. From an early age, Evan was an avid reader. He particularly enjoyed a series of Percy Jackson books and was the chess champion at Carolina School of Inquiry. He had an immense passion for Call of Duty, Fortnite and Ark. He was most competitive and a master at Trivia Hero. Evan played REC basketball at Denny Terrace Gym for many years, with Coach Chris and Coach David. He also played soccer at Meadowlake Park, with Coach Alex. Evan grew up as a faithful member of Goodwill Baptist Church, and in the past years attended Forward City Church. Evan’s memory will forever be cherished by: his parents, Marvin and Felicia Venable; and his grandparents Willie and Martha Lee and Carolyn Venable; his siblings, Victoria, Marvin, III and Aleesa (Gerail) Harvey; nephews, Aiden and Grayson; nieces, Allison, Journey, and Rylee; godmother, Roni; and a host of uncles, great-uncles, aunts, great-aunts, cousins and friends. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.
