  3. Dearest Eloise and family:
Although we talk often, I definitely was not ready to learns of Harry’s passing. It has been so very much a joy to have been lifelong friends…over 70 years. Such wonderful years loaded with fantastic memories. Those school years and beyond. All I can say is Hallelujah and thank you Jesus. So glad you and Harry were able to visit with me in DC. Oh how much fun we had. Then there have been thousands of telephone calls, cards and pictures shared over the years.
God will take care of you always. And what a blessing to have a daughter….as do I. Widows we are but even more…WE ARE TRULY a BLESSED.
My condolences to you and the family. Sympathies across the miles.
    Love:

  12. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8
Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (for we walk by faith, not by sight:) we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

Sister Nearing and family we pray that scripture and prayers will comfort the family during the loss of Deacon Nearing. He was a humbled man and lived by faith. Our family had the privilege to have him as our deacon. “We now say get your rest deacon Nearing you have been God’s good and faithful servant.” Prayers of God’s loving arms to comfort the Nearing Family during the loss of a humbled man of God. Let not your heart be troubled for our God makes no mistakes. R.I.P Deacon Nearing!
