We are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of our dear friend and classmate John “Bag” Goodwin Jr. His kind and gentle spirit will be missed. Reflections of the time we were able to share with him growing up in Gadsden will always generate a smile because that’s who he was. A kind gentle and loving person. We will miss you “Bag”. You have completed your assignment, and you understood the assignment and made an impact in your own way. Rest easy classmate and friend.

Sending condolences to the family. Bag will truly be missed. He would always come in Gadsden Community Store for his bologna for work. He always had a smile or asking someone do they need something. Just still a shocker to all of us.

From Gadsden Elementary to L R High even up to a couple weeks when him and Puppy came by , he always kept that same demeanor and joking way of making you laugh and as I said earlier , he would give you the shirt off his back .He was that brother every brother would want but not he,s gained his wings with his mom/ dad , brothers and cousins rejoicing in heaven.Bag touched a lot of lives just by his mere presence and treating people with love and kindness. You’ve gained your wings big bruh ,truly will be my missed .
