  2. Saturday I visited our family church looking for great grandfather Moses’ grave. I didn’t find it, but the history of our family, from the Shivers’, House, Weston and Dowdy, were present. I went to show your grandson part of our legacy, our beginning, our roots.

Daddy, as we commit your physical body to the ground today, I hold on to the memories we share. Know that we will pass the history on. You are in the arms of God, at peace and rejoicing with your parents.

Thank you to Leevy Funeral Home for showing and sharing great care for my Momma E and our family. To those who left words of comfort, thank you.

You all witnessed a fight for life that has now become an everlasting life with joy. My prayers have been for you all to be strong and look to the Lord during Mr. Jones’ fight and they remain the same for you now.

I hope you feel the prayers.

    Love,
