Mr. Joseph Lee Robertson was affectionately known as “Joe Lee” to his friends and family. He was born in Columbia, SC on October 18, 1952. He departed this life to take eternal rest on October 28, 2021.

 

He was employed with Hardaway Concrete Company, Inc, where he was dedicated employee.

 

Joseph was such a joy to be around. He loved to tell jokes and keep a smile on everyone’s face.  He was known for his love of music, whether it was singing or producing it.

 

Joseph was preceded by: his parents, Robert Robertson, Sr., Essie Moore Robertson; his sister, Ruth R. Joyner.

 

Joseph leaves to cherish his loving memory: his children Joseph (Shuronda) Robertson, Jr., of Columbia, SC and Lakeica Robinson, of Columbia, SC; his brother, Robert (Alice) Robertson, Jr., of  Columbia, SC; fiancé, Angela Foust, of Columbia, SC; four grandchildren, Jaleyah, Jamiyah, Joseph Avery, and Bryan;  three aunts, Annie Mae Davis, of Columbia, SC, Callie Taylor, of Columbia, SC, and Amy Taylor, of Columbia, SC; his uncle, Fred Taylor, of Columbia, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and caring friends, all of whom will  miss him dearly.
