  1. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Mr. Eddington will truly be missed. He had a unique sense of humor that kept me laughing. It was such an honor to have known him the short time that I did. God bless.

  2. To the Family Kenneth “Hollywood” Eddington

We first met Kenneth when our father moved to America to pastor the church that Bishop Eddington was retiring from. Over the years, we developed a close and lasting friendship with the family, especially with “Hollywood.” It’s hard to believe that just a few weeks ago, we spoke, and he shared beautiful photos of his family. Little did we know that only a few days later, we would receive the heartbreaking news of his passing.

Kenneth had that one-of-a-kind laugh and a straightforwardness that I truly loved about him. He was genuine in every way.

To Victoria and the entire Eddington family, please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you as you walk through this difficult journey of loss. May God’s peace and strength surround you during this time.

    Humbly submitted,

  3. My Family and I extend our Heartfelt Sympathy and Condolences to Your family during this most difficult time.

I met Kenny dating back to 1989 while stationed at Naval Base Charleston and we developed a Friendship which has remained steadfast to this day.

Kenny and I had recently spoken and our conversation as always was full of laughter while reminiscing and sharing perspectives of our daily lives.

To the Family we Pray The Lord continue to Protect and Bless You all in the days ahead.

  4. Kenny, My friend of over 35 years, we were stationed together on Charleston Navy Base. Over the years we talked often about life and family, he was so proud of Jacob and Olivia, you could hear it in his voice; and to become a grand father was the icing on the cake. We shared events in our families lives and my heart ached for Victoria and the family. We just spoke on the phone concerned about our partner Cliff in LA. I will miss my friend and will be there for the family.

  5. Deacon Eddington was assigned to be my watch care Deacon. He and his family embraced mine. He watched over my family….always asking about my spouse and kids. He was a kind man who could make you laugh. When my child was in trouble… Deacon Eddington was sitting in court right with us….. right in the trenches with us…providing support and wisdom…and even giving us resources to turn to. He and his family became by extended family. I will never forget the impact he and Victoria made in my life and faith. I will forever be grateful to him and his family. Rest on my friend….You will forever be my watch care Deacon.

  20. We were strangers to each other when we first met over 25 years ago. As strangers, we evolved into friends. As friends, we evolved to be best friends, and as fate would have it, we became brothers and were ordained as deacons for the Kingdom of God. Our family has grown to include both households, the Charleys and the Eddingtons!

When you went to sleep, I had no idea that you were going to sleep in the Lord! I’m truly in a bind for words, and despite writing/typing this through my tears, I still can’t believe it!

Deaconess Eddington, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Eddington, and Olivia (Ms. ‘O’) Eddington, I ask for God’s blessings to help you navigate this difficult time. God will provide you with the strength you need!

We Love you, my brother. s.i.p.m.b.h.i.b.f
