  4. My sincere condolences to Marvis,Lester and Travis. I first met the Phillips family during the 1950’s as my neighbors in the Greeview Community.
Mr. Phillips was stationed at Ft Jackson SC and as a child he impressed me with his calm demeanor. He was a very kind and patient man with the neighborhood kids yet he commanded our respect. I never heard him raise his voice
A true role model for our community.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of my grand uncle at the remarkable age of 98. He was a cherished connection in our family, bringing us together over time. May his memory be a blessing, and may our family find comfort in the love and legacy he leaves behind.
