  10. My deepest condolences are extended to the Brackett family. “Coach Brackett” was my Physical Education and Basketball Coach in the 8th – 10th grades when I was in high school. “Coach” was admired by his players for his sincere interest in them as young men and he stayed in touch over the years. He was an excellent communicator, very knowledgeable, hands-on, tough, and most all, a gentleman.
I am indebted to him for the guidance and advice that he gave me as a basketball player and as a friend.
My prayers are with his family at this time. May the spirit of our God comfort you. 🏀 🙏🏾❤️

  13. To Dawn & Derrick & the Grands, we extend our Heartfelt Condolences to all of the family. Knowing Sherrill and Nolan and having them in our lives was truly a God Send. They were the most generous and welcoming people we had the pleasure of meeting during our time here in Columbia. Sherrill was a Tuskegee Alum along with my husband George Baker and they both were surprised they were part of some of the same circles. Remembering those Tuskegee days brought them both joy and to include Nolan and myself in the conversation made it even more special because Nolan and George also had something in common; they both LOVED JAZZ.

Rest Well My Friends and Know that God will say “Job Well Done”; you will always be with us. Thank you for making us part of your family, expanding our circle of friends and Thank You again for the many people you and Nolan brought together in your lifetime.
