Mr. Ocie David Clark

Mr. Ocie David Clark was born on March 8, 1942, in Birmingham, Alabama. He was the son of Elizabeth Clark Miles. He departed this life on Sunday, July 11, 2021. Mr. Clark was educated in the public schools of Birmingham, Alabama, and graduated from Western High School. He entered into the United Stated Marine Corps in 1964. He also served two tours in Vietnam. He retired after many dedicated years working for the State of South Carolina, Employment Security Commission. He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Post # 4262, in Columbia, South Carolina. He was preceded in death by: his mother, Elizabeth Clark Miles; and his first wife, Geneva Belton Clark. Mr. Ocie David Clark leaves to mourn his passing: his wife Cynthia Suzette Clark; a son, Darrius Clark, of Columbia, SC; sisters, Vicky Miles Martin, Anita Miles, and Letha Miles, all of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Mariah Nicole McPherson, Nicholas Clark, Toria Clark, Darisa Clark, Darius Tyrone Clark, Jr., and Najema Eldridge-Clark; great-grandchildren, Dominic Corbitt, Damari Corbitt, Damir Corbitt, Naziya Williams, and Josiah Warren; along with a host of other loving relatives and caring friends, all of whom will miss him dearly.
