  8. Mr. Bonnette was my best friends father. He seemed to always have a look of amusement on his face! He had a great since of humor but I never knew if he was laughing with me or at me!lol His home was like a second home to me which he probably wished was not the case! 🙂 Although Sylvia and I were best friends we went to different high schools at one point. Well one day I missed my bus to school so I walked up the street and asked Mr. Bonnette if he would take me to school, he looked at me like I was crazy but did it anyway and told me “Don’t let this happen again!” And then many years after I had graduated from college I was at the beauty salon in Columbia getting my hair done and in walks Mr. Bonnette delivering plates of food to the Salon & taking more food orders! It was so good seeing him at that time and such a surprise. I know that he will be missed. May the family take comfort in all of the wonderful memories of him.

  18. My deepest sympathy to
Mrs. Vivian, Michelle, Sliver and family. It was such a pleasure and honor to be chosen to be apart of your family. Even though I was chosen to care for Mrs. V. I sometimes found myself helping Mr. Bennetts, but I never minded it. I enjoy the many different conversations we had., and really getting to know him. Mr. Bennetts you take your rest and I assure you that I would do whatever I could do to help to taking care of your sweetie. Until we meet again

  29. Sylvia & family; the transition of a loved one is difficult, & often unexpected. , However, what helps to sustain us are the memories that we had over the years and carry in our heart of hearts.

May you celebrate your Father’s memory as you plan a worthy homecoming for the life he lived & shared with each of you!

Thinking of you especially at this time, lovingly. Your friend & teacher…MLK
