  3. It was a pleasure getting to know Big Rob & his family through working with him & an acquaintance. He was a laid back kinda fella. The Phillips & Bowman family have Jessie Lee Buskey & children’s deepest sympathies & prayers of comfort during this difficult time. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal.

  5. I worked with Rob in the 1980 Research Program at South Carolina State. It was a memorable work experience and friendship. RIP.

  10. Rob and I was good friends,we ate breakfast together 2 to 3 times week for about 6 years,our last breakfast was about a week ago he surely will be missed.Dennis Jones

  11. Robert and I grew up together in Laurel, Mississippi in the 1960s. He was always a great friend. We got the time to catch up this past summer after many years. He still had that childhood glimmer in his eye. He was a great person who was a lifelong friend. May he RIH.

  13. I will always treasure the memories of Rob as a Vestry member at St. Paul ‘s Anglican Church- Orangeburg,SC. During Church” Pot Lock”,he always fixed a delicious Cajun dish.
    We bowled together over 30 years ago. We had plenty of fun. You will truly be missed-RIP.
