My “POLO” buddy for over 20yr’s Shelton we’ve shared so many good times/memories together. Even if we didn’t see each other over the yr.’s we still remained in contact some way and some how. You always keep it “REAL” with me and that’s very “RARE”. And with that being said . I know you really on your pretty boy ‘POLO” swag in heaven. Sleep in Heaven my friend until we meet again gods willing.
My dearest friend, my brother, my homie, my playa!! whether we had 2 weeks or 2 months we was gonna ride this thing till the wheels feel off and you did! You put up a good fight and it give me comfort knowing you are in a better place now. I am so grateful to have spent these last 3 months with you day in and day out, from the beginning to the end! talking bout any and everything! No one could ever replace the bond that we share for over 37 years!! keep them laughing up there! Sleep in Peace!
Shelton & I were like brothers; you see him, you see me. I am at a lost of words for the loss of my friend, my brother. We made some great memories–running up & down Portchester & Scarsdale Drive doing the typical things teenagers do. I will miss my brother dearly. Rest on Shelton!!!

I had some good laughs with Shelton in our French class at CAJ. One morning I turned around to talk to him and smelled Clorox. He said he’d been up all night scrubbing his sneakers, which were always white. From then on, I called him Clorox. Shelton “Clorox” Jones was a really good guy; I send my condolences to his family.
