To my stepmother Mary Lee Ellis and loved ones of Wilbert Thomas. I join with you today as you mourn the loss of your brother, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and family member/friends. Although your hearts may be heavy with grief during the incredibly sad occasion, I encourage you to pray and continue leaning on God for the comfort and strength that will be necessary to get you through the passing of your loved one. “Love leaves a legacy that cannot be forgotten, and cherished memories never fade.” I beseech that God will comfort you in this time of bereavement. May the Lord be with this family during their loss of a loved one and longtime friend to me, Mr. Wilbert. I grew to love this family after we met while residing on Carver St. We had lots of fun and late nights front porch talk sessions at the Alexander’s home. May God bless your family to hold on to fond memories to help remove all hurt and sadness. Peace and blessings of love.
My sincere condolences to the Wilbert Thomas Family! As friends since high school days, we worked together after school at country clubs and hotels. We remained “Best of friends” for years. I was the best man at his wedding. We remained close throughout the years. A truly great guy!
