  1. My sincere condolences and prayers go out to the family of Mrs. Anita. I’ve never met you all, but heard great things about you! I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs. Anita 4 years ago at BlueCross. We worked closely together and she was such a jewel. We would laugh and joke with each other and talk about the goodness of the Lord! May God grant you his peace and joy during this time.

Your Mom and I worked together with Medicaid of BCBS and were Lunch buddies and I missed her when she moved on. We shared long conversations. and many laughs. You all came to one of my family cook outs, when the boys were younger.

    Best friends are angels
    That God sent along.
    They always stay beside you
    Whenever things go wrong.

I’m glad that God blessed me
With a good friend such as you.
    A person to be there,
A person to get me through.

    Never turn away from me.
I can’t bear to be apart.
    All the pain and suffering
Will be too much for my heart.

    You are my best friend,
The one who brightens my day.
The one who cheers me up,
The one who’s here to stay.

You have left such a mark on me & my family. God bless you & thank you Pastures Family for allowing to share Mrs. Anita with me. Love always!!!

  13. My deepest condolences, May the Harrington/Pastures family gain strength from this verse from the book of Isaiah. It reads, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

  18. My deepest condolences to the family of Mrs. Anita Harrington Pastures. I worked closely with Anita at Blue Cross & Blue Shield of SC preparing for events, helping with ordering of supplies, welcoming new employees, and on focus reviews. We often talked about our children and grandchildren whom she loved dearly. I found out Anita was sick when came up to BC &BS of SC to get the flu vaccine one our coworkers name Kaitlin told me, and when I got home I kept calling Anita on instant messenger until she called me back. She called me back and I told her I was retiring June 1, 2022, and she was so happy for and that’s when she told me she was sick, but she was so positive, and strong in her faith. Rest In Peace my friend. I will never forget all those potlucks we did together.
