  1. Aunt Dot ~ My Aunt Dot is an amazing woman. I am not using ‘past tense’ because has obtained the ‘eternal life’ that she always dreamed of.

For my cousins and their children

I am praying that our GOD, THE HEAVENLY FATHER is holding all of you tightly * tightly * tightly and squeezing out the pain that you are all experiencing. I’m asking HIM to supply you all with the strength that you all need. Please take comfort when you think of your beautiful momma and grand momma and great grand-momma standing at the throne of GOD smiling at JESUS and worshipping them.
She made it!!! She fought a good fight. She has heard GOD say…”Well done • good and faithful servant • enter into the joy of the LORD. “
My beloved cousins, may you and your families continue to live out your lives — walking the paths of goodness that Aunt Dot lovingly and faithfully paved for you by her many years of love for you-mixed with her prayers. She is still one of the sweetest women that GOD ever created to ever walk this planet. You are all so blessed that GOD gave her to you as momma and grand momma and great grand-momma.

Her love endures and holds on to each of you fiercely • forever and ever. …no matter what. Her love holds on to that blessed hope of embracing all of you – her children, her grandchildren and get great-grand children again. Focusing on this same love will help us all to continue to move forward — through the pain of her not being here with us.

Yes…she has crossed over….but she is not lost to us. We know exactly where she is. Sitting in Heaven on the front porch of her mansion …looking at all the beautiful flowers in her garden. All of us who believe in the death and resurrection of JESUS CHRIST will see her again. What a day of rejoicing that will be. We will sit down at her table and eat. I’m having her spaghetti.

It was not possible for me to be inside with you all during the funeral service. Some of you know that I have not been able to attend a funeral since my Tasha transitioned. GOD is helping me with this. With HIS help I was able to sit in my car — in the church parking lot —and watch the services on-line. I was allowed to see some of you as you entered the church. It was a beautiful and sweet service that I know would have made Aunt Dot smile. You all looked so beautiful to me. I love you all so, so much!!

  8. (Romans 8:35-38) gives us all an exception that glorifies God in the fullness. For its more than an example of how not to allow the immorals of the world to interfere in the righteousness upon the blessings of God.

  28. “Mother Dorothy,” as I called her, was truly a virtuous woman: “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue. She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness…Many Women do noble things, but you surpass them all.” (Proverbs 31 NIV) To my cousins on the Hammond, Aiken and Speaks side of the family, praying for God’s amazing grace and strength during the loss of your mother, grandmother and aunt. Our family has lost another precious matriarch for sure, but heaven has definitely gained a beautiful new angel. Rest in peace, Mother Dorothy!
